Are you doing any reading this weekend? I ask because Monday was Digital Book Day, where digitalbookday.com offered 407 books on its site … for free! Anyone could download the e-book versions of an unlimited number of books. How cool is that?! I offered Florida Is Murder for free – my double feature set which includes the first in series Due Justice.
In today’s Saturday Special…
1. IF YOU WERE to spend some time reading this weekend, where would you most prefer to do it? I posed this question on my Facebook page this week, and we had fun thinking about it. Here are 3 options (courtesy of Southern Living.)
Which one would you choose? Leave a comment with your favorite selection!
2. PUT ME IN any of the above settings right now, without coffee, and it wouldn’t be long before I fell asleep. I’m still recovering from a riveting few days in New York City last weekend for ThrillerFest (followed by five days of writing! Whew!). You can read about ThrillerFest and the International Thriller Writers group in my blog post HERE.
3. MY TRIP TO ThrillerFest required me to take four different planes. Are you one of the millions of people who has a fear of flying? It’s safe! Really! I promise! I gathered 12 reasons in case you need convincing. You can read the first 6 HERE, and the second 6 HERE.
4. SPEAKING OF FLYING, just a reminder that my Flight 12 book released one week ago today! I can’t wait for you to read it and tell me what you think. Of course, I hope you love it. After all, you’re the reason I write! It’s called Flight 12: A Jess Kimball Thriller. Read all about it HERE.
I’ll leave you with this cartoon, which just about sums up my life. Yours, too?
I like the one with the fireplace. No.one. I like them all really.
It’s such a burden having too many daydreams Judy, isn’t it?? 😉
the beach. plug in the coffee and curl up with the sound of the ocean.
Oh Jen, that sounds like the start of a perfect day!
Give me a comfy rocking chair (and maybe a blanket) in front of the fireplace and I’m good to go!
Bonnie- my thoughts exactly. Just looking at that picture makes me want a cozy blanket.
