Here’s my question for you while you’re here:
If you were forced to spend 1 year on a deserted island with
Willa, Jess, or Jenny,
which woman would you choose?
All 3 women are featured in my latest Hunt For Jack Reacher book, Jack in the Green.
Willa’s Top 3 Attributes: Runner, Decisive, Tall enough to reach high-hanging fruit!
Jess’s Top 3 Attributes: Determined, Never gives up, Sharp shooter who might kill dinner!
Jenny’s Top 3 Attributes: Empathetic, Hard working, Good swimmer in case you need to avoid sharks!
So which one would suit you best for 12 whole months?
Leave a comment with your thoughts!
Here on Diane Capri Island, I’ll be selecting FOUR WINNERS.
One name will be drawn to win a $20 Amazon gift card.

All you have to do is enter the Raffle below. Good luck!
I like to spend it with Willa, because I am sure she is a feisty judge like Judge Jeanine on Fox- and she keeps you going!!!!!
That sounds like great fun to me, Suzanne! Let’s do it!
I would like to have Jess with me,she keeps going no matter what and can stop any enemies in their tracks with her shot!
That skill definitely does sound handy, doesn’t it, Kathryn? (And it would be good for killing dinner, too!)
I’d choose Jess as she seems like an asset to have any time!
Works for me, Anna!
Jesus so I wouldn’t starve!
Oops auto correct. That’s Jess
Probably it would be good to have both of them on our island, Vicki!
With Jenny.
Jenny.
Nancy and Phyllis, I’d like Jenny, too. She works very hard — and I’m pretty lazy. 😀
I would choose Jess because she could take of business and hopefully help me.
I can go with that, Ann!
Well it can’t be Willa, I’m tall enough to reach the fruit, but I’m not a runner. So if something was after us, she would outrun me and I would be toast. Maybe Jenny, I’m a good swimmer too, so while she was leading the sharks away from me, I could swim to safety. lol I’m also a pretty good shot, so if I was with Jess, we would never go hungry. Wow, tough choice. 😀
Sounds like all three of them would be lucky to have YOU, Sue!
I’d choose Jenny. A year would be a long time to spend with someone who did NOT have a lot of empathy. I’m sure we’d manage to deal with much more “situations” given that empathy. “Close quarters” doesn’t require a lot of time to be at one another’s throats; empathy would greatly enhance our chances of surviving peacefully and cooperatively.
True dat, Linda!
For me it would definitely be Willa. Her character fascinates me and I’d have enough questions and comments to fill the year.
You should send me some of those questions, Linda. I’d like to write another Willa book. Maybe we can get some of your questions answered. Hmmmmm?
I’d pick Jenny! Empathy and hard work would go a long way on a deserted island! Thank you for such a generous giveaway!
You’re welcome, Kristen. And thanks for visiting our island!
It would have to be Jess’s her Top 3 Attributes: Determined, Never gives up, Sharp shooter who might kill dinner. Would come in handy. We would work well together since we are both determined and never give up, we could survive anything. 🙂
Sounds like you’re absolutely right, Vicky!
Jess would be my choice! 😀
Good one, Colleen!
I would chose Willa as I find her such an elegant and fascinating woman who knows her way around danger!!
She can get herself into some messes, though, can’t she Diana? LOL!
If you were forced to spend 1 year on a deserted island with Willa, Jess, or Jenny, which woman would you choose? I would choose Jess because her attributes are a lot like mine.
Sounds like Jess would be lucky to have you, Bobbi!
Despite tough times, she remains loyal. Plus, conversations would just be fun!
Which one are you choosing, Natasha?
I would have to pick Jess…she is tough and perseveres, thank you!
I agree totally, Kristin!
Willa of course. As long as we have the makings of having a nice drink in the evening. That woman has some stories to tell….I would love to listen.
She is pretty interesting to me, too, Debra — and the evening cocktail is a must!
I would choose Jennie. Loved the story.
I’m so glad, Galdys. I love Jenny. She’s got some interesting experiences ahead of her, methinks. Hmmmm???
Jess is my choice because attitude is everything! As long as you don’t give up, you have a chance to succeed!
True, Marcia. Very true.
I would choose Jess. Determination would be a definite asset when confined to an island. Also, we would not go hungry since she is a sharp shooter.
That was my feeling about it, Rachel. Otherwise, I’m afraid I’d be on the “desert island diet” !!!
Willa because I just love her.
Me, too, Doreen!
Willa, but I’d really like Reacher.
Maybe Reacher would be okay, Sherry. But all that “saying nothing” stuff would get old after a while, don’t you think?
I have to say Willa because I don’t like wishywashy people.
Well, no one would call Willa wishy-washy, for sure, Maggie! (Stubborn and opinionated, definitely!) 😀
Willa because she seems to be the most popular.
Willa has an enviable life, Jo. My idea of heaven would be to live on HER island!
I think Jess, because of her never give up attitude. With Jess on the island I know we would still be alive at the end of a year. Our escapades during that time would surely make for a good book.
I’ll bet you would have some great stories to share, Lynne!
Jess :3 Having someone around able to get some dinner would be really appreciated! xD I get kind of grumpy if I don’t have anything to eat 😛
shantih (at) hotmail (dot) it
Right there with you, Elisa!
I would pick Jess.
I would have to choose Jess. She sounds like she can take anything on without even blinking and I would need someone tough with me!
Melanie and Jan – I agree!
I would choose Willa because she is near my age – younger – and I love her lifestyle. And, I am the only male I see. thus far, in the responses, which, may be an advantage if she has to choose someone to date. But, then again, I am married…
Larry, maybe your wife would give you permission to live on an island for a year with Willa. Who knows? 😀
If the island is Maui or Kauai or Venice, wow, any of those would be real adventures. An island with just sand and a palm tree, or two, would not be my idea of an adventure with her. An island with beauty, and/or history, and/or mystery…that’s where Willa would truly shine.
