One of my favorite parts of summer is spending time outside reading a good book with my little schnauzer Miki! Of course, this means that my TBR pile is quickly shrinking. Ah, bookworm problems… This is the story of my life! Yours too?
I have a great solution for those of you hoping to stock up your TBR pile this summer! Have you heard of the Book Depository?
Founded in 2004, Book Depository is an international online book retailer based out of the UK that takes its motto All Books Available to All seriously. They offer a massive selection of books with unlimited free shipping. Did I mention that free shipping applies to more than 160 countries?
With so many books to choose from it can be a little overwhelming. Luckily, there are four primary categories to help your search: Best Seller, Coming Soon, New Releases, and the Bargain Shop (my favorite!). The Bargain Shop offers great deals on a wide variety of books. You can also shop by numerous categories based on age, genre, and even audiobooks. Essentially, it’s a bookworm’s paradise. 😉
Of course, my books are also available through Book Depository. You can find them here. If you’re looking for ideas on what to read, you can peruse my mysteries and thrillers HERE.
So now that you know where to shop, what are you going to buy? Here are a few summer-inspired suggestions.

Best travel journals to document your summer adventures:
Of course, I enjoy reading year-round but one of the reasons I particularly love reading in the summer is how a book can magically transport you to a new destination (minus jetlag and waiting in long security line ups).
That’s why I placed the Hunt for Justice Mystery Series in Florida, the Sunshine State. Judge Willa Carson has a beautiful home on Plant Key, but it’s hard to keep her inside for long. There’s something about the contrast between the beautiful weather and mystery that makes stories more compelling, I think. Murder in Paradise is a tantalizing theme. Don’t you agree?
Reading is much less expensive than, say, a trip to the movies or an amusement park, or even eating out. Just a few dollars can buy hours of enjoyment, along with all the added benefits of reading. You can learn more about the Benefits of Reading here.

So, what say you? What is your go-to store when it comes to purchasing books? Tell me about it!
Ps. With all these new books you’re going to be reading you may enjoy using these free printable bookmarks from the Book Depository.
