Are you enjoying any holiday activities this weekend? I went recently to the Christmas shows at Disney and saw various Spectacles of Lights.
The lights are up in Traverse City, too. How beautiful!!!
The twinkling beauty reminds me of rookie journalist Jordan Fox’s trip to Haiti in False Truth 5… a place where Jordan encounters danger amid the countryside’s natural beauty.
Here’s another gift of nature that some are lucky enough to have: being a lefty! I’m not one, but lefties are my kindred spirits. Studies show that lefties tend to have a knack for thinking “outside of the box”, among other things. If you know any lefties, you should show them this blog post pointing out their “superpowers”. They’ll love you for it! https://dianecapri.com/2014/12/are-you-an-latent-lefty-too/
And finally this December weekend, here’s a little word humor for you:
Har har har… hope you appreciate this as much as I do!
I’d love it if you left a comment and let me know — what’s making you smile this weekend?
I love all the lights. They are so pretty. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you, too, Judy! Thanks for connecting with me here.
Your emails make me smile! I love receiving them, always a fun read! Merry Christmas!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying my blog, Barbara. Thanks for reading! And Merry Christmasto you, too!
Merry Christmas Diane :), I LOVED the “For Lease Navidad” sign you captured. …it was priceless!!
You asked ‘what is making us smile’ this week or season. I’m Blessed to have many reasons, but right now the biggest is my 5 year old granddaughter, Attiana. That little girl is OVER THE MOON about Christmas and Santa Claus. And nobody can giggle like a 5 year old when she is SO excited about Santa.
Last Thursday, December 18th, Santa Claus visited Attianas kindergarten class. I wish you could have heard her, my friend! She just bubbled on about Santa, his Reindeer & the Elves. Her only minor disappointment was NOT seeing Reindeer….Santa told the kids that he had left them at the River, so they could get “a good long drink before their next trip…” 🙂
Now, how is that for a week brightener?? 🙂
One last thing….Plans are being made for our 50th High School, 1968 to 2018!!! We are having a Blast! I’m not sure it tops Santa, but it’s still been a very “smiley” week. MERRY CHRISTMAS 🙂
Sounds like a fun and busy holiday, Lynn! Enjoy!
