Sometimes, especially this time of year, I like to imagine we could all get together — you, and me, and our friends and families, and just be merry together. I so want to meet each and every one of you, and this seems particularly like the right season to do that.
Of course, such a gathering isn’t practical. We’re scattered across the globe. But a girl can dream, can’t she?
If we were to get together, what would the setting be? A fancy ballroom? A cozy heated porch in back of a favorite local restaurant? Or perhaps a house, all decked out for the holidays?
We would mingle, introduce ourselves, and chat about our favorite books with festive music playing softly in the background.
And there would be cocktails. Which presents a problem. What shall we serve?? There is such potential to have fun with adult beverages during the holidays.
Luckily for us, I have a master list of 26 of the most enticing holiday cocktails out there, courtesy of Red Envelope. Click the link to see them all. But — before you even click, go ahead and thank them. They’ve given us more choices than we’ll know what to do with.
But while we’re playing pretend, let’s keep the game going: Which drink will we serve at our holiday gathering? If you manage to pick a favorite from the link above, let me know and I’ll add it to our imaginary menu. And if you have a favorite recipe of your own, do share!
As always, thanks for reading. And stay tuned next week for some exciting news to be posted on the blog!

Now I want a cocktail, and it’s only 9am! LOL Thanks for sharing the fabulous list. I may have to indulge in one or several. 🙂 Happy holidays, Diane!
An answer to an RX for pre-Christmas stress….I think I’d like to taste them all!! but not at once, for certain!. I’m going to first try the peppermint drink and go from there.
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, Diane!
