I have been listening to audiobooks in my car since I bought this one back in 2006. Even though I’m retired now, I still liten to books on disk whenever I drive.
I travel for work. 80,000 miles per year. Audio books keep me from counting the miles. A good one makes me forget the distance and I have been known to stay in the truck to finish a book or chapter even after a long commute.

I really love to listen to audio books in the bath tub. Relaxing by candlelight!

The absolute best place to listen to audiobooks is on the back deck, with The Little Back river flowing by. Restful except when Reacher is keeping Kim and Carlos out of harms way!

I have yet to have this experience with an audio book, but my son has definitely recommended it. With being at home all the time now (due to an ill husband) my best daily care of myself is to take a little time to read. Every night before bed I make it a point to read – books – not the newspaper or anything else, even bills!!
My quiet time for reading and audio books is in bed, with my full concentration, and imagination working overtime! Thank you.
My favorite place to listen to audio books in sitting on the deck with my two dogs or if really cold snuggled on the sofa with my two dogs.

My favorite time to listen to audio books is laying on the couch. I especially listen to them when I have headaches, which is a lot, so I don’t have to focus my eyes on a book.
I have never tried one, but it would certainly be at night in bed.

First, I need warm, dry weather. Then, I need my lounge chair. THEN I love to listen to audio books. I used to listen on my way to and from work. But our current vehicle doesn’t have a tape player 🙂

My favorite time and place to listen to an audiobook is when I am completely alone and without distractions; such as in bed, under a shade tree during the summer, while taking a nice relaxing bath, or cuddled up in a blanket while sitting on the wide window ledge inside my bedroom, as I watch the stars twinkle and shimmer in the winter time.

My husband and I love to listen to books on CD in the car while driving anywhere. If we go out to lunch ten miles away or less we still listen to a book each time. We love the books on CD for trips the most as they definitely pass the time traveling and make it seem so much shorter. We don’t usually listen at home very often. I did a bit of home listening after I came out of the hospital in July though as I was not in the car too much.

I listen to audiobooks when I’m driving, just around town running errands and longer out-of-town trips. Also when I’m cooking and cleaning, listening to audiobooks makes the time fly.
I haven’t had the pleasure yet of listening to an audiobook, but I sure would love to try it out. I think I would most likely listen to an audiobook while resting in bed or while I’m cruising on Facebook.
I usually listen while out on walks or on my infernal stationary bike.
My favorite time & place to listen to an audio book is at night after the lights are out and hubby is asleep. It doesn’t disturb him and I can stay up as late as I want…and just plug into the story. It’s actually my fave time of day. 🙂 Thanks for the interesting question, Diane.

I love to read and then switch to audible books when my eyes need to be elsewhere. The car is one of my favorite places or the kitchen when I am cooking.
When I am sitting outdoors having some much deserved “me time” since I work hard as a caregiver for mom with Dementia which is a 24/7 job.
Love audio books…got me thru many miles for work travel and on personal trips. Not a tv watcher and I have a book on daily and when I go to bed. Find it relaxing and the best.
I love to listen to audio books while I’m doing dishes or cooking. I also listen with my husband before we go to bed.
My favorite time is when I am exercising on my Revolution’s Exercise Bike.

I have a 30 minute drive to and from work and also take long walks, anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, several times per week. I look forward to these periods when an audio book creates a new world opening all around me.

Favorite time is went I get a minute when everyone is in the bed.I can sit down and relax and be alone and just listen to a audio book.
I love listening to audiobooks while I clean and while I go for a walk or run. It helps time pass quickly, and I love that I can still read while I am doing something else. I am a big audiobook fan and get them from Audible as well as my local library. 🙂
I like to listen to audio books early in the morning on the weekends when I am not in a hurry to go to work, do errands, etc. Just me and the book.
In mid morning sitting in my butterfly garden or working in it most usually. Watching them as cataplllers or the newbies stretch and dry their wings. Flying around me as I work or plant. It’s a great time to listen to a good story and still get things done.

My favorite time to listen to audio books is definitely when I’m doing housework. I can listen stories and visualize far off places, exciting adventures, and intriguing people while doing the mundane, repetitive tasks required to keep a house full of people clean and tidy. I NEED THIS BOOK!
I don’t normally listen to books, but prefer to read instead. That said, I do from time to time listen to an audio book on my tablet with ear phones while my husband is watching a TV program I do not like.

I love to read/listen when I’m driving to soccer games. I am a high school soccer official & also referee Premier Cup games & a good book always makes the trip fly.
