Indie Book Fest is a long weekend of workshops, panels, parties, and more. The weekend includes a free book signing open to the public September 30th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. I still have to decide which panels/workshops I’ll be attending. Here are some of the options:

There are so many aspects of being an author, from the beginning stages of working through ideas, to the craft of getting them on the page, to the art of self-publishing, I strive to attend as many panels as possible to keep sending great books your way!
October 4 – 8: NINC (Novelists, Inc.) Conference in St. Pete Beach, Florida
This is one of my favorite conferences every year. NINC is a professional network of multi-published novelists in an international community of career authors. This year’s conference theme is Discovery. I’m thrilled to immerse myself in this topic among other author friends. One of the cool things about the NINC Conference is their Night Owl sessions, and you know I’m a night owl! These roundtable talks are open only to authors (no husbands, assistants, or other guests allowed!) because nobody else understands writers as well as other writers. I often get a lot of ideas jotted down at these conferences, and use them as writing fodder for the rest of the year.
November 19th, 5:00 PM: Book Signing at Murder on the Beach in Delray Beach, Florida
I’m going to be signing books at Murder on the Beach Mystery Bookstore at 5:00pm November 19th. Murder on the Beach specializes in mysteries, thrillers, and suspense, and is the leader in signed mystery books by Florida authors. Here are a couple pictures from previous book signings at this shop —
