As you all know, I live in Florida, the state we sometimes jokingly call “hurricane alley,” and 2017 was a disastrous year for hurricanes.
While my home in Tampa was spared, other Florida locations were destroyed. Key West, one of my very favorite places, sustained serious damage that has yet to be repaired. Texas, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands were devastated. Maybe my imagination is too vivid, but I shudder to think about how damaged some areas still are all these months after the hurricanes have disappeared.
People are hurting. We can help. Twenty-five popular mystery and thriller novelists have joined up and I was pleased to be invited to participate.

The Good Deed
Every penny you pay for these twenty-five novels (after deducting Amazon’s fee for selling the collection) will be sent by Amazon directly to the ONE AMERICA APPEAL, a joint fundraising effort of five former U.S. Presidents, to provide hurricane relief in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
All of the design, layout, and services required to produce this epic compilation of twenty-five novels were donated by people supporting our effort and all of the novels included were donated by the twenty-five authors.
All of the sales revenue will go to the relief effort in those areas hit hardest by the recent hurricanes.
